Upstream oxygen heat sensor 2 E85 4cyl- Location?

Hi all
First post and help required please. The dreaded engine light has thrown up a fault with the upstream heat sensor 2, my mechanic has told me there are two identical sensors located where the manifold splits, do any of you kind people know which one is the upstream sensor 2? The kind guys at BMW suggested a trial and error change or book it in with them….

Bank 1 is the cat for cylinders 1&2 Bank 2 is for cylinders 3&4.
The Pre cat sensors screw in at the top of the incorporated Cat as shown in the diagram.
The Post Cat sensors are split one screws in after the cat on Bank 1. item 2 in the diagram.
Bank 2 post cat sensor is further along the exhaust here
