Upper cross brace hex hunt e85/e86

I've been chasing an annoying dash rattle for months. It turns out it's not a dash rattle at all but a missing nut on one of the cross braces! Does anyone have a spare they'd be willing to post out in exchange for money via paypal? Thanks

I just need x1 of the nuts identified as item *2* below:

Do you have to have original?

Why not whip off one of the others for a pattern, go to a local hardware shop and pick up four shiny stainless ones?

And you got me thinking, so just been out to check and yes, ours does have nuts at the front outer ends, not bolts as shown in the diagram.

I also put stainless washers under the nuts.

Main dealers is you best option for this as it is a mut with a flanged washer
Should be a couple of £ each

Don't go stainless for fasteners like this, I'm sure they'll need to be high tensile.

EDIT - They are M10 Class 8 zinc plated flange nuts. You should be able to get a bag on ebay for a couple of quid.

For a bolt yes I'd agree. For a nut I can't really see an issue.

EDIT: I confess the one's I used were 'acquired' from a friend who worked as a maintenance engineer on a food processing line, so they are of a higher grade.
In hindsight, my advice to get them from a standard hardware shop would probably not yield stainless of a suitable strength.

This is absolutely the easiest way, if you can't get to a dealer just phone up and they'll post you out one generally with free postage probably same day as well. Any other way is just causing you hassle for no benefit. :?
