Upload routes to Garmin 3790T?

Damn, that's annoying! Will be the same for my 3790. If I cant find a solution am considering the 'long way round' and ordering Windows XP to run through Boot Camp. Then just use whatever PC Garmin software I can.

Update for you WLH.

Try Gmaps. Once you've started recording and created a basic route, click on the 'Export as GPX' link. The first time you do this you'll be taken to a page that instructs you to drag a link to your Firefox toolbar.

Once you've done that. close it and refresh the GMap page. Create a new route and when done, click the new bookmark in your toolbar. You'll then be shown GPX data options to upload directly to your GPS.

EDIT: Not working either :headbang: I can save the route as plain text but it wont show up when I drag that file into the GPS unit. Done some digging and there are two files in the GPX folder on the unit. One is called 'current' (logs and tracks your trips) and one is called 'temp' (waypoints added during trips etc). Apparently its a bit of a one way thing according to this thread...http://forums.gpsreview.net/viewtopic.php?t=20644
