Uphill or downhill?

I took another route to deal with the problem of rain and the roof motor. . .

I'm using a half cover which (hopefully) will keep the water from running down the back of the roof and into the motor space. We've had such heavy rain and I keep my Zed on the drive that I thought it essential to get a cover. I've had two half covers - One from Just Roadsters which was waterproof, light and easy to put on with elastic straps to keep it in place - £50 with a case and so easy to put on and take off, put in its case and store in the boot (case about 10 by 5 by 4 inches).

I am now using a Buzztops half cover which is heavier and made of courdura has a magnetic strip to attach to the Zed and Velcro straps to secure beneath the wing mirrors - this needs a little more care to fit and would take up far more room in the boot so I keep it in the hall when not in use.
The covers go on every night and help me feel a little better when it rains. . . we shall see!

Think I might use this idea mines just kept on the drive and until the thread didn't realise there would be such a problem. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. :D
