Upgrading Analogue TV

Now the analogue TV signal is disappearing and I'm pretty sure the '03 I'm picking up at the end of the week will not have digital, is there a way you can easily update the TV module (I'm guessing not and it will be rather expensive), or is there a way to make it do something else interesting ?

Never had a car with a TV in it before, but guess it could be fun/useful to have sometimes.....

You can get an aftermarket tv tuner quite cheap. But if you want a BMW one I think its around £500.

Was interested in upgrading my analog tv but not at £500

Also don't want window aerials as i'm a roadster !!!

Mmm, wouldn't want to pay £500 for an upgrade as I can't see me using it that much tbh...

I'm tempted to call the 'help lines' now that analogue has been switched off and confuse them when I say there's nowhere to plug in the freeview box in the car

Heres a cheaper version for £65.

What type of input does the OE TV tuner have? If you can change it to RCA inputs then you can use this one.

^ that's interesting, wonder why it has SD card & USB?

I've got a TV Module sitting in a box I never fitted, & I've seen RCA type inputsfrom somewhere, will try and find a link

I've always wanted a front facing camera mounted low in the nose so you could flick to it as you're driving, or even link the HDMI outfrom my phone, so I could have youtube, or films, internet etc
