upgrade to electric seats

i have a 2008 2.0l with heated seats but i'm interested in sourcing electric seats, question is will he existing loom be
set for the seat upgrade

The question should be why bother. For a 2008 I don’t think the loom will be there. You shouldn’t need to move your seat that much anyway. Electric seats add weight. Unless you upgrade your seats to M seats, it doesn’t seem worth the hassle.
Unless you really, really want them.
