Upgrade from an M for less than £10k

I'm trying to say that if you want to hear a 3.2 M engine properly, then a Z4MR is the best place to do that,

If you want a fast E46 then buy a 330ci or M3. There are tons available. I have a 330 Ci x reg and it

I made they change and haven't looked back, I loved my Z4M but the M3 I feel is a much more rounded car espicially the gearbox which for me I felt was the weak point on the Z4, you will enjoy it and you will love the sound of that V8 on full chat  .
's very quick. If you love the M3 engine there is no better place to hear it than in a Z4m
. It has the same initial push but the weight difference makes it awesome !

I'm talking about the E92 M3 though and you can't get that V8 in the Z4 from factory, so I'm a little lost in what your trying to say :?

Last time I checked the money E30 M3's were going for wasn't classed as scrap money

The Original and the best. Plus simpler for an enthusiast to maintain long term. Hence I mentioned Most M3's. Would be wonderful to think the E92 might become an icon, but I fear the vast majority, will die younger than they should.

I see what your getting at, but your words are flawed. A good M3 of any generation still commands decent money, our car isn't a huge amount safer IMO.

Time will tell if the E85 Z4Ms will become icons or just be forgotten. They are beautiful raw cars build specifically for fun, that should keep a few people interested. Personally I don't think the E92 M3 has quite the same qualities.

Most people who can afford these cars new want the latest and greatest and will chop in and not be too worried about depreciation for the newer models, depends if you want to keep with the times and accept new technology or keep with what you know. Generally cars which were expensive to buy will all inevitably be cheap to buy second hand after 3 years but still as expensive to maintain as they were new, to the point (10-15 years) where they are not financially viable unless you are a real car nut and are passionate about it. Obviously the E30 is different as the engines are pretty basic compared to their younger brothers so easier to maintain, and it was the original so was always going to be a classic.

My Z4Mc I love it but do I see myself owning it for 10 years... not likely I like to change, lifes too short and I want to get through as many as I can before we are all reduced to buying electric sensible cars because petrol is no longer financially viable. Even at the current prices people are struggling a study said 75% more people are likely to let there tanks run into the red before filling up. Petrol doubling in price in 6 years, China using 800x more fuel per day than the UK and average households in China are only just starting to buy cars. Times are bleak ahead.

The time to buy is now!!! If you want a hardcore M car buy one before they are taxed off the road.
