*UPDATED NIGHT PICS* Sonar Clear Lights

Hi Neil, the adjustment looks pretty simple and if need be the front bumper comes off (with practice) in 10th mins. Not ideal I know but always an option to carry a couple tools in the car on the day. After spending a couple months with these lights now, I'm no further forward in knowing whether they would pass but no one has flashed me to say I'm causing an issue on the roads and comparing the light beam to other cars I think my first impressions were a little over worried!

As for installing them, I think that if you fit them in without connecting the red and white wiresyou would end up with the main beam, side lights and indicators but no AE or top strip.
 
Mot last week, the driver side was a little high but the mot tester said he adjusted it (dunno how without taking off bumper, but that is his job!) and everything was fine now. Mot done at local council depot so no reason to doubt him. 3 months down the line, the lenses are as good as new with no suspicion of spidering (yet?)
 
I think they look good but I am a bit worried as the ones I am looking at from M Style are over 300 and I would need them fitted at about 100.... I really cant make my mind up. I could do that or get an M Sport MF steering wheel.....

MFSW gets my vote over the lights :)
 
V7jco, think these are the same as the ones sold by mstyle. Installation is fairly easy if a bit time consuming. New steering wheel would be nice to have though. Really any mods done are just a way of personalising your own car and so choose which ever is more important to you! :)
 
Thing is, its my wifes car that I am driving for a year or so as she has mine to carry new baby around in..... I might have to sleep on it for a while! Mind you, all the money i'm saving by not drinking I could get both in a few weeks :lol:
