Have finally managed to fit in some time (skiving off work to be honest) to fit tyres to the new rims. i have to say i think they re great. All in they cost me £450 including refurb materials (paint, wet & dry paper and beer :) ) second hand tyres and fitting fees.

my zed lives on the street and is ALWAYS mucky so thats the way ive presented it, although i might feel more inclined to clean it over the weekend as ive got a bottle of poorboys blackhole sat in my kitchen mocking me everytime i make a cuppa!!

They've turned out really well. I think the orange bolt holes are an inspirational touch to lift an otherwise 'flat' finish - nice.

Neat theme

no rubbing so far.... although ive only done about 6 miles. to be honest the ride actually seems better but i have switched over from run flats. the tyre fitter didnt think theyd fit either but we were both pleasantly surprised when lowered off the ramp and wheels sat snuggly under the arches. rears have gone from 225 wide to 255 wide.

it was a real gamble with the orange but the trial and error buying orange testers to find the colour match to the indicators was worth it.

Yeah they look really good, didn't think it would work when I saw your pics off the car, but it does.

I think they look rather good mate!

I'm debating about getting a set of six series wheels for mine, I just can't decide whether I think 19's look a little bit too big on the zed, big 5 spoke designs especially, whereas 19" inch CSL's and the like don't quite give the unimpression of being as large.

appreciate all the kind words gents :)

Is that the Batmobile ;)

not quite, but there is a (not so discreet) 'Punisher' emblem on the driver side front wing

i agree, but like tvs and pay packets, some things are better when bigger. All joking aside though they re ONLY JUST within the limits of acceptability imo!

they look sweet !! good job that man  very brave with the orange, but they have come off really well. They fill the wheel arches really nicely too, with the same curve. 8) 8) 8)

you need to remove that shiney silver 'Z4' emblem off the back now mate!!
