I recently replaced by pink time attacked OEM turbines with these ACS Type IIs. For the fans of the pink wheels worry not... they are doing track duty now :D I also did the vinyl rear lights. In the next few weeks I'll be extending the light look to the side markers and headlights, and I'll have exhaust tips. After that I am periodically done modding. I'll probably do suspension next year, and I'm also going to look into the sound modification you do under the hood... the thing the 3.0s got but not the 2.5s (I can't remember what it is called).

Great looking wheels too. That is classic ACS style.

I was thinking about doing the same thing with the red vinyl overlays on the taillights, and now after seeing them on your car I might consider doing them. Did you cover just the amber circle, or the entire taillight?
 
Thanks. The overlays just go over the amber, there is a little bit of overlap so it doens't have to be perfect. Are your headlights straight 2006+ ones or some sort of modified version of your originals?
 
i got the same vinyls which just cover the amber part, and they look so much better! The best part is at night with your taillights on the contrast between the not illuminated center and outside ring is exaggerated because of the overlay, so it looks very cool. I wouldn't go back!
 
Headlights are from a 2006+ halogen. It was basically a straight swap, except that I had to tap one of the parking light wires into into another existing power wire. The amber headlights have 2 bulbs while the clear ones have 3.
 
Thanks Roger. Now, I've heard people say that there are wiring issues with the newer headlights, are those just the xenons?
 
Nice to see some classy ACS wheels (before ACS decided to turn ricey) for a change instead of the usual and played out time-attacks / blacked out wheels.
