[UPDATE] 4-wheel Alignment

That looks like a decent setup. Was 2-ish -ve camber the best they could get out of the rears?

Mine feels pretty neutral now and I didn’t go as aggressive as you with the toe angle, but I have a fair amount more caster. I’m sure having a locking diff helps things too as you don’t seem to need as big a brave pill to experiment on the limit of grip.

Glad the forum recommendation came good. WIM charge based on adjustment time so I think I might get mine re-done very 18mths or so.

Yes, N/S camber maxed out, so he had to dial O/S back to match it. Castor is also maxed out I think, without the ///M offset lollipops I don't think I would get near 6/7deg, but I prefer driving in twisty roads with slower corners so prefer agility over straight line stability. I think this is ideal, I'll see how I feel in a few weeks.

Ended up going to WIM mostly because I remembered you telling me at The Black Swan how it was more of a talk over things to find what you wanted rather just blind adjustment.

Ah yes! Best bit was at the end when the guy just smiled and said “I think you’re going to enjoy this”. :)

Just find a local shop with the Hunter alignment machine. There are loads out there.

Many of our cars have non OEM springs, bushes, wheels and tyres I've previously posted at length about trying to get my car set up properly to take account this. Unfortunately having a Hunter doesn't mean the operator will do anything more than set it to OEM spec, it's all about finding an operator who fully understands the knock-on effect of changes that have been made to your car (I don't) and what you are looking for. Any recommendations for a top-notch operator are gold-dust TBH.

When setting up a 911 with Kinematic toe adjustment, or an MX5 with masses of available adjustments due to the double wshbone setup, I'll go to a shop that specialises in that model. The adjustment is quite limited on the Z4 and the two local shops near me with a Hunter machine are just fine, to set my Z4M to the CSL plus the spec that I wanted. Everyone's requirements are different :)
