I had heard the E89 has a pretty poor crash rating, this is a real mess. Whoever was behind the wheel is probably not too well right now....

Fools . It had a whippy, which caused so much drag and buffeting that the car lost control and you can see the end result in those pics (the whippy got snapped off in the crash). A sobering reminder of why whippy's need to be 'upgraded'....

E89 crash rating was 5 stars. Got de-valued to 3-star because it doesn't have pedestrian sensing equipment, lane departure warning, or a speed assistance system; nothing to do with the frame.

My F20 had lane departure warning and it was a pain in the backside, it had stop start too both which are pleasingly absent on my Zed! The only electronic safety feature I would like is the dead spot monitoring thing in the door mirrors.
