Whats everyones view of the non M sport seats ? I find mine comfortable in my 35i but just wish the bolsters and thigh supports were a bit more supportive

I know the M sport seats have additional pull out section behind the knee support , are the bolsters the same as the non M sport seats ?

Find myself rolling around in my seat a bit , no doubt will have to fit springs shortly to stop some bodyroll

I had m sport in my e46, now standard electric heated, definitely worse support and yes I roll around a bit as well. Cost to upgrade after 4 years owning the car means it will never happen in this car. :(

Never sat on non m sport seats so can't comment. Lack of lumbar support on my m sport seats is a bit of a gripe on 4+hour drives.

Hi Maniac .. exactly why I ticked the lumbar option box when I purchased mine ... only a £295 option, but for what ever reason not many new owners tick the box

H'mm Read this post with interest. I just assumed that these items were standard, as when I bought my 2009 S drive 3.0i ( not new) it had these items ,just checked the original price list for that year and I have : Lumbar support, seat adjustment with memory, seat heating and sports seats. which includes all the goodies described .Looks like I got more than I bargained for. I must say that I find the seating good and the individual adjustment particularly for lumbar and side bolsters are great particularly on long drives.

Fair comment, Its just that as these weren't mentioned in the spec when I bought it and I only found them after I assumed ( yes I know all about assumed) they were standard. After previously owning two other BMW's I should have figured this out. When I change again I will certainly look for these in the spec.
