Unsmooth when pulling away

Hi, I have owned a BMW Z4M Roadster for 3 months now.
Recently I have noticed when pulling away from a junction from 0 MPH that the car isn't always very smooth.
Sometimes I have to be careful not to stall it.
Other times when changing from 2nd to 3rd gear for example when accelerate the car often is lumpy and unsmooth.
I have plugged an OBC reader into it, and there is no faults.
I run the car on Shell V Power only.
Has anyone experience this, or got any suggestions?

Sounds a bit like the hesitation issue. I believe some owners have rectified by cleaning the throttle bodies, but again search on here for "hesitation" and you'll fine a lot of information.

Its a common issue with the Z4 M, you might want to check out these items;
- hesitation issue (http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=39891)
- CDV delete
- TPS replacement/calibration
- engine mounts (upgrade to Vibra Technics)
- clutch stop

Even without actual mechanical faults it is tricky car drive 'smooth' because of the short first gear and heavy clutch.
I have absolutly no problems when flooring it (e.g. on the track) but on my daily commute, even after 2 years of ownership, I still find it difficult to get every shift right.

I've done the CDV delete, engine mount upgrade, TPS replacement and cleaning of ICV, now it is very much improved from when I first got the car, still not the easiest car to drive but overall quite bareable :P
 
Thanks all for your comments / advice I shall be taking the car to bits next Saturday morning. I'll let you know how I get on!
I have now uploaded a couple of photos of the car!

Try first a throttle reset with the key procedure.
1st to 2nd from 2000 RPM
Try letting the clutch up before gently getting on the loud pedal.
