Unobtrusive smart phone holder

Been looking for a holder for my smart phone and didn't want a big black clasp sticking to my dash. I eventually found this magnetic holder that clips onto the horizontal vents and then you have a little disc that sticks to the back of your phone. The magnet is really strong the phone is secure in portrait or landscape orientation. This is the link. Plus, it was delivered within 24 hours.

I just got the same item and I'm very impressed. Got a second one for my van as well. Only cost £6 on the rainforest site.
 
Had the same in most of my cars, I don't like massive in your face mounts so this made sense. It's not perfect and sometimes the phone can move around a little but it's as good as it gets for minimalist look.

I thought about the CD slot one after someone posted it on here, didn't want a big cradle, ended up getting this magnetic one, stuck it on the ashtray lid, nice and close to the aux cable, I use my phone for music so suits me well, and doesn't block any vents or slots, a very flat magnet sticks to the back of your phone case, it's bloody strong!

I bought one of these too (Yosh), delivered today. Works a treat and very stable but if you have a wireless chargeable phone then be careful where you position the magnetic disc as it might interfere with that - I had to move it to towards the bottom of my Galaxy S8+
