Unlikely but just in case...

Does anybody have or know where to source a 3D model of a ///M roadster, or if not a M, any other E85 roadster? Needs to be pretty spot on. I've managed to get a hold of the raw untextured shell and bits for a coupe, which I've put all together applied full textures and rendered but I want a roadster ideally. The point being, instead of doing dodgy photoshop hacks to see what a mod will look like, I'm going to apply things like style & colour changes (alloys) to a fully rotatable digital model to see what it looks like first before committing to any expensive visual mods.

For anyone interested, these are some quick first pass samples of a coupe I've been working on, stock 224's.. There's no brake assembly yet and for some reason the rear glass isn't respecting transparency settings, and the ambient lighting is a touch dark, but if I can get a hold of a roadster model from someone or somewhere I'll get it looking the dogs danglers.

Sorry, can't provide you the 3D model, but... for 38'600 credits, I know you can purchase the car from Gran Turismo 5 dealership :driving:
For the price you'd even get the interior fully rendered

Good luck with your research, seriously that could be a great tool for all modders!

Actually that's really good to know! The model I'm using was ripped from Forza but I've never really played gran turismo. I'll take a look to see if I can get it. Cheers.

Wow, didn't know this was even possible... maybe you'll encounter a bit more difficulties to get it from a Playstation game though?
You could also give a try to GTA V mods, I know there are quite a few allowing you to drive E85/E89 in the streets of Los Santos...

BTW, it would be nice to know the list of all video games featuring our Z4s...

To be honest it wasn't me that ripped it, they were on a website somewhere in a raw format, totally gray scale with the wheels disconnected! But the source format for xbox and playstation should be the same, objects start off modelled in a 3D CAD program before being ported yo the game engine so someone might have already done the other games! I'll take a look.

Shift 2 Unleashed has a E86 'M Coupe too - and given there's a PC version, should be easy enough to grab files from. Other than that I think GT6 will be the only place for a roadster.
