Hello everyone, I have an unknown stain on my car seat that has expanded since I last tried to clean it. These pictures will show the stain. I have no idea how to fix the problem!! Please any help identifying the stain and how to remove it would save my life. Thank you so much

This link should work! http://img169.imageshack.us/i/iphonepictures084.jpg/

That appears to be the Sensatec Leatherette seat material, available in North America.

What did you use to clean it with?

I would try leather cleaner and see if the white mark comes off, if not it might be the dye has come out. A dark grey or black shoe polish would probably sort it (check a hidden area first to make sure it didn't make it too dark or shiny) or one of the leather restoration kits you can buy online with colour matching dye. A decent valeter would probably sort it for you too at a cost.

i actually used a leather cleaner at first to clean it... when it is wet the colour comes back, however, once it dries this tends to happen... I actually tried to use a black shoe polish as well... it fixed the problem temporarily, however the problem came back even larger then before after i used the black shoe polish

Are you sure you have leather and not Leatherette? Our's is Leatherette and it looks exactly like yours (minus the white spot).

Just throwing out some ideas if this is Leatherette:

Perhaps it was caused by heat, did you have something clear on the windshield such as a pass holder etc, that could have magnified sunlight to cause a heated spot like that? A heated seat pad that caused that, perhaps a bad connection in the switch or controller that didn't regulate the heat as it should and let it overheat? Perhaps it was caused by a heavy object, like a knee that stretched the vinyl? Or perhaps it was from a chemical reaction to a cleaner of some kind?

You could test the overheating seat heater theory by turning on the seats and feeling if it get excessively hot or not (am I mistaken to believe that all Canadian market Z4s have heated seats as standard?).
