Don't have any experience with them personally and I'm not sure if this is even worth saying but the Rainsport 3's are one of the most used & loved tyres for the MX5 by most members of the forum I'm on.

Both rear wheel drive two seaters, must count for something.. :D
Can't fault them been brilliant on my Z

If anyone is looking for uni royal rain sport 3 click on tyres have them up for £77.80 255/35/18 and £52.95 225/40/18.

Now that is a bargain for those on a set of 18inch staggered :o

That's what I thought. Based in Shipley too so no delivery cost. Was going to ultra vorti but with a saving of over £40 I think it'll be uni-royals

What sort of wear are you getting with them, Dan?

Getting a good wear done about 6k on them can measure them tomorrow if you want?

Cheers, Dan. Mr Wilks said he he is getting good wear from his on the front, but they do have a bit of a reputation for poor wear. I would like to know how they hold up at the back before making a commitment to Uni's all round...

Just fitted these on all 4 corners - still wearing them in and what an improvement from the run flats! Interested to see what the others wear was like too?!

Sorry Rick completely forgot my Z is on holiday at my parents now and I'm off to Scotland for a week. Will get my dad to measure the tread and let you know sometime in the week.

Most reviews online ive seen RE heavy wear rate on RS3s seem to be from users of larger much heavier cars like 5series doing the big motorway miles

I probably will too. Do you find them quieter?

Thinking about it now, I have noticed it to be a little quieter with the roof up and down.
