Uneven tyre wear

On checking my rear tyre depth I found that the inside has worn less than the outside. Does this mean that I need more negative camber and if so is it easy to adjust it a little myself? If so, has anyone on here done this?

Either you are cornering hard or maybe your geometry is out..personally I’d take it to a decent alignment shop and get it seen to by people with the correct gear..rear camber adjustment is easy but limited on E89s and E85s which share broadly similar rear ends..maybe your rear bushes are a bit tired too?

Agree with B21. Also check tire pressures. I don't remember what the door card says off the top of my head, but I run 35 PSI cold all around. Also the front camber can be further adjusted by taking out the alignment pins. It shouldn't be necessary to take them out for daily driving conditions though.

Thank you, B21 and Rsipad, I’ve always thought that the camber looked wrong when it was last done but the guy insisted it was correct. I recently had both rear springs replaced for the MOT, would this have something to do with it? I made a big thing with the garage re size as I wanted the ride height the same. It was.

Camber is measured statically…so ride height will effect it on E85/E89 due to the design of the rear suspension..you can use an app on a smartphone and a straight edge to make a home measurement but a decent alignment place is what you require…you may find the toe in is out as well..
