SWMBO was complaining last night she wasn't warn enough!!! I was nice and warm!!!

Checked this morning and the volume of heated air to the drivers footwell seemed a lot greater than that to the passanget side, is that normal? If not what can be done about it please

Norman (nice and warm but with thw wife complaining...............)

This is something that has annoyed me since I got the car.

My left (UK clutch) foot has been almost burned alive!

Decided to block off the vent, removed the three screws and dropped the trim to access the footwell air duct outlet

Cut a piece of "left over" heavy plastic sheet, sat it over the grille

Refitted the trim.

On next test drive, if necessary I may pierce a hole up through the plastic to get a bit of airflow.

Meantime..... less holes in driver's side equals more airflow in passenger's side.

Okay, if anyone is interested, after driving for a few miles at 3 degree C with roof down I stopped and cut a small slit through the plastic with a knife.
Result, a nice jet of warm air into the centre of the footwell. Left foot can now comfortably sit on footrest without being incinerated.
