Underside of your Z4M

Guys,

Still looking to buy a Z4M later this year. Currently got a E46 M3 2001 with 65k miles on the clock and whilst it's a solid car, the underside has a lot of surface corrosion on the suspension components, subframes, trailing arms etc. Now I know the Z4M will only be half the age and hopefully half the miles, but just wondering how they are fairing with agem any signs of the above. Certainly not read any problems with body corrosion.

I'm sure 95% of people aren't bothered by what they can't see, but it worries me! With my next car (hopefully a Z4M) gonig to be a weekend car for many many years I don't want it to be the same when 10 years old....

I guess any car you get you could get fully cleaned and treated on the underside to protect it? I'd doubt there's much corrosion on a 2006 or later car to be honest though. One car dealer friend does say that in areas where they salt the roads a lot there will be more corrosion underneath than on a car that is an area that isn't salted heavily, or used in winter... Either way I've not heard of any Z4Ms with corrosion problems.
