IMHO that's worth following up - the boxes seem to be much easier to find than the brackets! And if it helps the E46 3 Series use the same parts (that's where my 2nd one came from).

Agree that it seems way easier to find the box than the brackets, but good to know it shares it w/ the e46 3 series.

It's a complex shape, so to avoid the need for loads of supports it consists of the base plus the the three pillars which just bolt onto the base - see the photo in my original post.
