Exactly what it says in the title. I feel that there are a number of films out there that have been somewhat overlooked, but are each brilliant in their own way. So here is some that I was thinking about today (in no particular order) :

1. Reign over me http://www.amazon.co.uk/Reign-Over-...&qid=1381683290&sr=8-1&keywords=reign+over+me
2. Unknown http://www.amazon.co.uk/DVD-Liam-Ne...e=UTF8&qid=1381683520&sr=1-1&keywords=unknown
3. Adam http://www.amazon.co.uk/Adam-DVD-Hu...1?ie=UTF8&qid=1381682969&sr=8-1&keywords=adam
4. The Soloist http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Soloist...F8&qid=1381683600&sr=8-1&keywords=The+soloist

Love my movies as much as my music. Have over a 1000 DVD's and Blurays that are all now stored on my HTPC with 15tb of storage.
Lots of good foreign language films out there to be enjoyed.
3 of my faves.

A documentary film which tells a story of what can only be described as true heroism

The Battle of Chernobyl : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XiPgsesupDQ

As a big film fan here some which stand out as underated :

Calvaire - 2004 Belgian psychological horror
Detachment - 2011 American drama about the high school education system
Europa Report - 2013 science fiction about a mission to Europa
Wrecked - 2010 trapped in a car wreck survival film
Los cronocrímenes - 2007 science fiction film with a time loop plot
Everything Is Illuminated - 2005 Jewish-American writer's attempt to research his grandfather's life in Ukraine
The Iceman - 2012 American crime thriller based on the life of notorious ruthless hitman Richard Kuklinski
The Thirteenth Floor - 1999 science fiction crime thriller film

all based on my disagreement with the IMDB rating :D

is it all foreign language

"New World" is a Korean film with English subtitles.
So many great foreign language films out there.
A lot of people though(my wifey included), just can't watch a film with subtitles. :(
