Under-car heat resistant panel

Any chance someone is breaking a Z4 at the moment? I'd like to replace a panel which has corroded/rotted off and the retail on a brand new stamped piece is pretty eye watering. It's a panel that is held on by a dozen 8mm screws and fits underneath, pretty much in the centre of the car. There are a few used on ebay but on all of them the fastening locations all look as rotted as mine did, so hoping someone might have a dry-weather car they are breaking... long shot I know.

I used carbon kevlar cloth and some epoxy resin then drilled the holes and re fitted them over 2 years (summers) use.

Not that one I'm afraid; it's the flat panel that goes 'under' that one you've pictured. Part no 51487047808

Unfortunately my old one is destroyed as the fasteners at the front let go, it dropped down and instantly bent/buckled as I was driving at the time, so need to find replacement.

If I were you I'd buy the one on Ebay for £30 and then get yourself some large penny washers and new screws etc. Mine is about the same condition and recently refitted mine with penny washers etc and it's absolutely fine. It won't fall off for many years to come

I repaired mine a few weeks back, but I'm sure I saw some brand new ones on Ebay for around 70 quid?

Cheers, but I’ve had this before on another car and did this but the corrosion just continues; plus my z4 is a daily so it wouldn’t take long to come back. I’d sooner replace with a piece in decent shape rather than put a plaster on the issue.

Yeah saw those too; thought I’d try my luck here first in case anyone is breaking their car.
