Under bonnet colour

The underside of my Midnight Blue bonnet looks like Midnight Blue without any laquer on. My mates Silver zed underside bonnet seems to be dark grey/black primer. Interested to know what is original and correct

Yep, there is a mixture of colours under there but none of them are shiny.

You should see your cars colour under the bonnet but it's always a flat colour, not glossy.

My Z is silver with white under the bonnet

On a previous discussion around this subject I think the conclusion was that there was no rule for this, i.e. any combination from just black to unglossed car colour was found.

Mine's also Silver, but is battleship grey under the bonnet & engine bay etc
