He is indeed. Nice drop of red merlot.
Should go well with the fish and chips when 'management' wends her way home via the bank to get a loan to pay for the chippie. :D

There fixed that for you.

Why did you have to change to 'red' merlot?
Does it come in any other colour?

That's bizarre. I didn't know I did. Spooky.... :o

Anyway what about my cheap wheels and expensive tyres? :headbang:

Hardly seems worth it when we all know you'll sell the car next week. :poke: :D

Personally hammering around a bumpy corner with potholes at high speed in a no name product doesn’t fill me with joy…

Me neither, Peter, especially as I'm looking at 20" with lower profile tyres. And there in lies my quandary. BUT are the 'so-called' branded items with brand names no-one has ever heard of any better?

Another side problem I am having is finding matching front and rear tyres of the sizes I need. 235/35/20 and 275/30/20. I have found only PS4S come in both those sizes so far. And the cost is over £1,100 for the 4!! :o

You will just have to change the car for one with suitable wheels!😉😀

Veemans are great quality and usually reasonably priced
I just can't find any Veeman's I like. I've looked at EVERYTHING (below a certain price) and still keep coming back to the BMW style replicas.
How about Veemann’s sister company Ispiri?

Well if you insist on rubber bands for tyres I’d certainly go with a supplier that has brands with some public track record…There are engineering standards for these round jobbies ..but..the copycat guys simply copy the logos.. :tumbleweed:

Actually there is this one in the Ispiri range I quite like:

I bought a brand new set of Ispiri wheels and the paint quality was really poor.
Sold them on very quickly 👎
No issues with the Veeman paint.....

This is my whole point. Ispiri wheels are DOUBLE the cost of unbranded wheels of the same dimensions. £350 a wheel is not cheap, even by today's standards.

The Inovits I had on my e89 were pretty good, paint quality overall was fine but there was the odd very small flaw in the paint you only noticed when cleaning them really.. think they were 650 quid so good value

That looks nice! That looks similar to the new method wheels my friend got from 4Wheelonline onto his truck. Looks great with red bembo brake kit.

Nice looking wheels but my own experience was the paint quality was poor

Not had any issues with the paint on my set

Hello everyone,

I have a question and am posting for the first time. That being the case I had to put this question here before they allow me my first post.

Can 100 wire spoke wheels be placed on the Z4? I asked because somewhere I heard that they shouldn't be placed on performance cars.
