Unable to reset airbag fault 93AC

After working on my drivers side door regulator I’ve got the airbag light on.
I plug my Creator C110 in and under SRS module it’s got the fault 93AC side airbag driver.
I select erase but the code stays.
The battery was disconnected before removing the airbag and reconnected after the airbag was reconnected.
I’ve read the fault can be stored in the B pillar/satellite modules for the relevant side and needs to be cleared from there.
My scanner won’t connect to the modules either side ( driver or passenger )
Is it likely that the scanner just doesn’t have that functionality or is there a issue with those modules.
If there was a problem with those modules wouldn’t I get more error codes ?
The only code the scanner is showing is the 93AC

Any ideas would be appreciated
 
These airbag faults are difficult to pinpoint. Your creator might not have the full functionality to read and clear all the codes, I have a creator c310+ that works with this code so that would be my guess. With mine it always takes a methodical approach to interrogate ALL the menu items, including satellite modules, and clear codes as you go. My Indy has a £7K BMW diagnostic tool and they have shown me that some codes exist as live and stored, in some cases we have had to clear them individually after doing some work. Where are you based?
