Unable to open doors....

Afternoon all, looking for any suggestions from those who can...
Car parked up and connected to charger ( trickle charge) to maintain battery condition. Car left unlocked and started + run up to temp every 2/4 weeks. Problem free until this afternoon. Can hear doors locking and unlocking using the fob and the key but the doors wont actually open. The bootlid opens on the fob and using the key.
The battery holds a good charge / never had any problems like this previously and don't think is electrical, or is it?? :(

Can you open the roof by pressing and holding the open key... to then reach in and try and open the doors with the inner pull handle? Or carefully climb in and start the car to get more power to the battery

Thinking out loud really

That's sound like an idea Martin. I've never opened the roof whilst stuck outside and hadn't really considered that option. I have only raised and the lowered the roof with controls in the car - i have the diamond shaped fob which is original to the car - i didnt know the fob could be used to control the roof but will give that a try. Much appreciated

If it doesn't open by press n hold of the remote fob, put the key in the door lock turn an hold an keep it there, the windows should drop followed by the roof, keep holding in same position until windows roll back up, should aslo do the same if you lock the car with key, just keep it held in postion

As to the actual problem, look up gm5 module, it looks after locking, it can be fixed, if it's at fault
Success! Thanks to you and True Blue, I had no idea the key/fob would help in this situation. I can at least gain access and resolve issue now. Raising a glass to you both :)
