Are these to strap an umbrella in the boot?

the velcro next to the hatch holds the support bars if you use the ski passt hru feature. The two straps are used to hold whatever you want, like bungee cords.

i took out the ski support and use them to hold a toldeo expandable tyre wrench.

My car doesn’t have the ski through hatch feature, just the storage compartment instead which is much more useful for me. I’m sure I’ll find a use for the straps but nothing springs to mind just yet apart from an umbrella…….

Your storage compartment with the shelves pop out. You then have a handy hatch
into the cabin. Great for my fishing rods :wink:

Ski hatch not on Vin decoder spec list so doubt that. Yep Brolly is only thing I can think of that will fit there

I've got a couple of the small BMW umbrellas, they fit perfectly into the small foldout storage bin at the bottom of each door

Yeah. I went a year not realising. Not having the ski bag did not know the hatch was there :wink:
