UltraSuede on windshield trim

Hi guys,
I was thinking about wrapping windshield trim (basicly A-pillars) in UltraSuede aka Alcantara. Did anyone else tried this before? I'm concerned about fitment gaps afterwards.

The whole of the windscreen trim would be good as it's the cheapest part of the car and feels really tacky.
