Gave the car two coats of Auto Glym super resin polish by machine polisher then instead of High definition wax I tried AG's Ultra Deep Shine. it's supposed to give darker colours a 'wet look' Not bad actually although I would get similar results with the Wax :) Gave the wheels a clean and protect with Turtle Nano wheel wax and Megs tyre gel.

Must be nice to have big gaps between your spokes so you can get to the inside of the wheel!

Some of the best wheels I've had for cleaning! I spray the inside of the alloy with AG wheel wax or turtle wax and leave a good coating on after every clean, it seems to stop tar and brake dust taking hold on the rims.

The wheels look pristine.

I've tried everything on mine and have found the only way to keep them looking clean is to *ahem* clean them regularly

Have been toying with getting some AG UDS - is it easy to apply (bearing in mind I'll do be doing it "old skool" - by hand)?

It looks like you too will be needing some of the newer wheel centre-caps.

The original ones (and the ones you've got on) are plastic with a sticker which goes brown & peels. The new one is plastic with a metal badge wrapped around it which looks much better.

Yep, I should have moaned about the caps before the three year warranty was up! Will buy a new set this Autumn.

The Ultra Deep Shine was easy enough to use as long as you don't put it on too thick.
