Why do you think we have the highest concentration of convertibles in the UK? It is all that brainwashing that we are going to have hot summers

I didn't get taken in by that nonsense - a roof and CC works just fine and looks better too. :D

Keep talking like that and you will end up without a bank account :P

I was watching the London News the other day and it seems hundreds of cameras have been either stolen, disconnected or obscured!

They will just buy more and increase the council tax so the folk with compliant cars will also take a hit!

As they can’t use Chinese cameras they are at least supporting local economies

You can't comply your way out of tyranny.........I know what I'd like to do with the majority of those in power ( those that abuse that position of trust and privilege) :chophead:

As far as ULEZ is concerned, the people of London are to blame, they voted for Khan and slowly his madness is spreading to other cities around the country.

The only way to stop it is for Londoners to vote Khan out and hopefully other politicians will get the message, hit the motorist and we hit back with our votes.

It isn't that simple though! :x

A majority of central London residents tend to support any Labour politician and don't have cars anyway! Outer London Borough residents have more evenly split political loyalties but are more likely to have cars. That's the mix that gets to vote for the Mayor.

But there must be millions who live just outside Khan's Kingdom who get no vote but have to enter it for work or other reasons, like my nephew who lives in Ewell but works for the Met in Twickenham. And as he does shifts a car is the only realistic way for him to get to work.

Fortunately his petrol car is compliant, but I'm sure he will have colleagues who have little choice but to to drive into the ULEZ and had to change their cars or pay £12.50 a day to go to work!

So millions of the people it affects don't actually get to vote him out.

Then any residents in London who own a car or business should now vote against Khan. Even those who don't have a car soon will notice prices rising from being charged more by those who do have to pay ULEZ charges and simply pass those costs on.

Taxis travelling to out local airport always quote the fare plus the parking charge of £5. Those in London will b doing the same so it will effect every Londoner one way or another
