As someone who has a smattering of Polish, Indian plus the French, German and whatever else makes up the typical mix of a "Brit" these days, and as someone whose kids can add Syrian Lebanese into their mix, I doubt I'd be welcomed in by UKIP.

I think UKIP can go swivel.

Why are you taking it so personally? Why can't people be pragmatic about this. We can't afford to have another wave of immigration in this country. Yes of course we are a country of many races but why does this mean we should have unlimited immigration?

It is the banal argument coming from the left of the political field that says it is racist and xenophobic to control immigration that is causing all these problems.

My girlfriend was was born in Australia to Sri Lankan parents. She thinks we are mad the way we give money to immigrants and let them live in this country without having to assimilate or work.

Yes I agree with you they are buffoons , but until we do something about the benefits system and immigration control they will only get stronger. The answer is not to deride everything that UKIP say just because they are idiots.
