UK storms

in real danger of getting wet and blown over...

seriously though, think weve been pretty well warned this time around

You know I'm begining to seriously wonder about our 'Weather Services' - talk about risk adverse  They got caught out one October in 1980's and ever since you'd be afraid to step outside of the door if you took heed of their 'Warinings' It's Winter Weather FCS

Jesterman, very true I think, now the slightest problem and there are warnings everywhere. The Met Office has been issuing weather warnings for Leeds since Friday, and today I had the roof down on the way to work, more chance of getting sunburnt than blown away

Edit - although our fellow members in the South have been getting a bit more of a battering, so take care down there :)

yeah wouldnt have had the roof down this morning down here lol!

besides the roof doesnt come down on the train :?

We have had it all today, wind, bright sun, thunder, hale.

Nothing terribly bad though

Well the Zed got a free wash in the rain... too bad the power lines on the train line took a bit of a beating :(

Also forgot to mention that it ruined a holiday for me! I'm an Orthodox Christian and yesterday was Clean Monday (or Green Monday). It's exactly 40 days before our Easter and signifies the beggining of Lent. It's tradition on that day for people to go outside in the fields and whatnot and have picnics with friends and family, eat seafood and veggies (animal products and everything that "has" blood like chicken or other meat and also fish is prohibited) and fly kites all day! But alas my seafood BBQ had to be unceremoniously cancelled... I guess we could still fly kites although i think desperately trying to keep hold of them would be a more proper description.

All in all a poopy day

I thought from the start of your post it was a little like Clean Friday for me! I always try to get the fleet cleaned up and ready for the weekend.... Alas it was not.

Oh also on Clean Friday once the cars are done i go in and enjoy a few stellas.

Cheers
