123d - good choice, thats my other baby.

Excellent, do you have the coupe? I am just going for the 3dr, need something semi practical. I am keeping the M3 for track days :)

How are you finding the 123d, when did it loosen up? It's only done 2500miles so I suspect performance and economy won't quite be there yet?

Got a bloke transferring a desposit this afternoon, although heard that before :) If it goes through then I am afriad he wants the hardtop too, sorry guys :(

Boooo, hiiisssss  :fuelfire:

Atleast you finally sold the car, I probably don't want to know the price though :|

Boo, hiss n'all  now I'll have to start looking again (ok I never really stopped but yours looked like what I wanted!) :x

Let me know what happens cause come Sunday I'll have cash not this transfer rubbish!! :P

Guys... bad news I am afraid. Just received a deposit for the car and hardtop :) :)

As I've said on the Pistonheads advert:

******** Apologies to everyone interested in the hardtop. I've sold the car and the new owner also negotiated the hardtop into the deal. Incase the deal falls through last minute, if you want to send me your contact details and live in the London area, I can put you on my "backup list". Cost would only be £600 last minute ***********

Sorry for wasting your time guys. Didn't for one minute think this would actually work out.
Is the deal done, you got the cash?

TBH (and this isn't aimed at Herminator or Motto or anyone else on here) but the amount of time your car and accessories has been for sale, there has been plenty opportunity for someone to get whatever they wanted from it.

Motto said:
You know I was referring to the buyer not the seller!
LOL careful though, he might be on here next week telling us about how he just got a great deal on a used Z4 in Aberdeen

Hehe - the thought had crossed my mind, then again he deserves it!! :P

Just having a look at some of the Z's for sale out there and think some people don't realise there's a recession on - I mean there are loads of people asking nearly (and sometimes the same or more) than BMW are asking! eh? :?

Yep sometimes a dealer is a better bet than a deluded private seller who can't believe how much their car has lost. There must be a car for you out there somewhere? What region are you in?

West lothian but I am prepared to travel the whole of the UK for the right car. Problem is my budget of around £10k (and I mean around! more like spot on) is so difficult. Some examples below which I would pay £10k not their asking price:

etc etc, now for BMW:

This one is nice, but £13k for a 2003 car is absolutely deluded, might be worth an offer on.

No neither :scratchhead: I'll keep a look out for some more cars for you.

Mine was a better spec, and it wasn't "Steel Grey" :fuelfire:

Seriously though, £15k for that, he must have paid under £10k for it, no? Crazy.

That car is well over priced. I ended up selling the car (very high spec) for just under £10k plus the price of the hardtop..... I am never buying a new sports car again :(

Glad you agree, thought it might just have been me.

Might send that guy an email and see what he says......
