UK - force petrol prices down....

The Labour candidate came round my house on the campaign trail for the election and wanted to know if they can count on me for their support. I said halve the fuel duty and I may! If not, no chance! He seemed genuinely shocked that the fuel duty was such an issue? WTF! :o
I told him out of all the taxation ploys they have pulled, the fuel one is the one that effects me the most!

Proof last week. I had the week off work and we decided to go out on day trips! I was shocked at how much we spent on fuel in one week!! :o

Partly due to the fact, the British have been used to bending over and taking it from good old Winkie...

Beggars belief that they can bail out the banks, let bankers run scot free, employ 6 million public servants, not jail MP due to their expenses...

Frustratingly, I can't even vote here. Nor back in NL as I don't live there either.

I was going to say "gone", but thought against it as some may be a bit sensitive on here.

Its just sad really. My Uncle cant afford to go to work anymore, this is despite him running a Peugot 206 HDi. Guy is on 14k a year.

Yes not much.

If its not the hippies/jobsworths and their "green" agenda its the recession. Despite stealth taxing everyone through the proverbial for 12 years its crazy that a 46 year old man can not even afford to go to work.

We will probably end up rioting soon....Mad Max anyone?
