UK cheapest Z4 at 4K

As you may be aware I am seeking to purchase my first Z4 after a few years of MX5 ownership. Just having a browse on the net this morning of of the local rags spotted this. Well I thought this needs checking so ran a hpi check on the car its a 2.2 it shows 5 owners no stolen record, not scrapped no record of any total loss by insurers.

I have tried the number to speak to the owner but goes to a fax line so somewhat suspect now, have e mailed to find out more. I am after a 2.5 or 3.0 so wont be of any interest to me but to anyone who is looking its in Melksham in Wiltshire.

When it sounds to good to be true then its too good to be true!
The car is a 3.0ltr according to DVLA so the seller is providing a pic of another car-why?
43k miles should be nearer £6K
All very suspect and more likely a scam.
Get the guy to come to you!

Russ I wont even go after this one, you are so right it has all the marks of a scam I may string him along maybe :evil:

Looks pretty dodgy, id stay well away. Its a good ad though to get people looking. Would be good to find out how they were planning on executing it, just out of interest.

Search not going overly well. As you say, not a lot about just now.

There was a 3.0, decent extras, 12k, private sale, grey, red seats in exeter on an 05 plate week before last, went for 12k.

Wanted to go look, but was busy saturday that weekend, and the guy sold it in the am.

That aside, not seen an awful lot. Want to give it a few weeks/months to try and find exactly what I want (3.0 in grey with red heated seats, and reasonable mileage/age) before I start thinking too much about 2.5s etc.

Search not going overly well. As you say, not a lot about just now.

I may fly to belfast then onto Londonderry to see a 3.0 very very low miles sounds promising but only a viewing will tell

That add does sound rather vague, and not listing what model it is :? Since most would be after the 3ltr, then why not say it. 4k does look like a scam. I was looking for a 1 series ages ago for the missis, and they had a 118d for 3.5k, and seller said gone to Cyprus to live, and he will fly back to get the car out of the rented garage etc, then wanted 2k in a holding account so he knew i was serious :rofl: umm

Must admit the itch for an M may take me soon :rofl: , and dont want to put any more miles on mine, well its only done 39k :rofl:
