Swiftcover

Swiftcover insurance work 100% online, hence they are one of the cheapest insurance brokers in the UK.

I'm with Swiftcover this year. One thing to note though is they won't suspend your policy or reduce it to laid-up cover if the car is off the road for an extended period of time. Factor this into your pricing-up.

£430 for me and that's with 20k miles a year. Good price and much better than the £700 Frezzel quoted for me. They also demanded a tracker!

Im 27, 3yrs NCB, no accidents or points: My quote with them:

£19,004.94

They wont let my add my parents either for some stupid reason?

Useless for youngsters im thinking.

LOL, you sure are persistent... if I got a quote of £19,004.94 I don't think I'd be trying again :D

... maybe if you change the parking option to "off-street" they will cut it to £18,995? ;)

Listed as on the drive, but maybe if I changed it from age 27 to 97 it might help

Believe it or not thats not the highest quote Ive ever had on car insurance even though it will be the highest priced car I will have ever owned.

I looking to renew the Z4, SWIFT want £440, best so far is Hastings at £204 but I'm working on it
(M, 49, 6k miles, garaged, SDC and commuting, 8yrs NCB protected, no claims or points. total £250xs, Low post code).

Swift are a joke, want me to have a tracker on the car!
You've got one - it's just not activated until you pay your subscription.

A lot of insurance companies will ask if you have one fitted - but none so far have asked me if it is activated (which it is) - and it doesn't seem to make the premium any cheaper as the ones who 'demand' it are more expensive in the first place anyway :headbang:

I activated my tracker for the first year I had my car - cost £150 (per year) with £30 admin charge - swift gave me a £130 discount for having the tracker enabled.

Needless to say I didn't renew my tracker subscription the follow year.

You do realise the Tracker is designed to retrieve your car if/when it's stolen and not to make your insurance cheaper... :poke: :D

I for one, have it now and will be having it in the future. It's a brilliant piece of technology. 8)

And I just got quoted £1500 by Swiftcover.... the wonders of living in London! :headbang:
