Which I think is an OK price TBH, wonder what they're charging nowadays.MRol said:Just been offered by BMW to extend the warranty by one year on me 3.0 for £427 (With BMW Emergency Service) and £340 without. I feel that this is OKish........ What do you think?
The old BMW Warranty extension was at that level (at least when it was offered to me), but I understand that under the new system you can reduce the level of cover and accordingly the cost.srhutch said:I think the aftermarket one are maybe worth looking at, as long as you choose one where BMW can do the work, but I think you are looking at £800+ per year for BMW warranty.

where was that about?
i looked at tesco options, the people on the boxster forums seem to rate them, and that came out at ~400 so if the BMW one is the same it seems like a good deal to me.

Warrenty cover is insurance hopefully not needed, but for me this year it has paid for itself. just had my third set of 108's fitted, under the origional car warrenty. I was offered any other wheel of my choise, but stuck to the 108s. BMW are OK on warrenty claims. I have had no problems making my claims.
