Just posted on the emission thread.... having a joke time with local BMW dealers, never seen such crap in last 8 years or so.

Was in getting O2 sensor dealt with.....250 miles to oil service at 35.5K miles.... so asked for a quote for service .....

CHILD... at service says he'll go and speak to service managers...comes back and says ".....you need to get Inpsection at that mileage...."

WTF I say ..... "how come car has been counting down from 14K miles to present 250 miles to next OIL SERVICE...." Response ..."but they say Inspection next..."

For crying out loud! :headbang:

Some poor %unts are being royally ripped off if they listen to service desk jockeys..... :x
 
sounds like a joke...

my dealer initially thought my car had the condition based servicing of the later models... til they put the key in their reader thing and said oh maybe it doesn't :rofl: Still managed to screw the service indicator resetting up :headbang: now says next is inspection when it is oil :o

try a different dealer?
