Uh Oh.. N46 Fault Codes

Finally got round to getting the reader on my Z4 today and have the following codes:

2A67, 2D07, 2CF8, 2A83

googling of codes seems Valvetronic Motor/Sensor, has anyone had similar things. Is there anything I should check before going with the more expensive repair options?

First thing to do is check the eccentric shaft sensor for oil contamination, esp around the connector. This is typically enough to screw the signal and cause problems. More often than not though, oil contamination around the sensor means new sensor required.

What are the fault symptoms???

Hi, just FYI I have a valvetronic motor for the N46 on the 2.0 2006 z4 I am breaking.

I replaced it 14,000 miles ago and cost £279 from BMW which I believe was the trade price as a friends owns a garage,

Happy to do a deal on it if you need one and are interested.
