Hi, does anyone have experience of these? thinking of upgrading as I have no iDrive and wandered on its reliability and usability ?

One of many Chinese copies of the same design…a relative brand name ..so probably an ok choice..avoid the 12” version..way too big for the e89 imho

Hi-Fi max do a neater if more expensive version fwiw

I bought this one for £23.50 from TEMU for my 2013 E89. It is easy to install and links with my iPhone through Bluetooth. Sound can be controlled by using a spare FM channel on the radio. It also comes with a reversing camera if you need it.
I now have access to quite a wide range of apps and play my music with Spotify. There is a small speaker in the unit itself. But that is a bit tinny.
I’ve only had it a week or so. So can’t say how durable it will be. But so far i’’m really pleased with it.
I can even use SIRI to make phone calls.
