Ugly cars - finally a sensible reason they exist

Ever see other peoples cars and think 'what were you thinking when you bought that!?'..?

Or even more so, 'what were they thinking when they designed that!?'..?

This has always been one of those cars for me, it's horrendous! Hopefully this doesn't offend anyone on here if you've owned one before... However I was parked next to one in the petrol station today, and it certainly made me appreciate the beauty of the zed even more than usual.

Which, in turn, led me to conclude that this must be the only reason they build these cars... To make Z4 owners appreciate what we have

For me the multipla is actually more acceptable than it used to be... probably since the Juke made 3 levels of headlights somehow socially acceptable! I think the toned down facelift multipla they later did is actually worse.

E85 is definitely ageing pretty well... certainly better than the E60 and the 2002-on 7 series. I really need to de-ginger mine this summer though... I guess amber indicators were pretty old fashioned even back in 2003. They probably only fitted them to make the facelift more compelling a few years down the line :headbang:

I personally never liked my Z4M from the front one bit and thought it was ugly but I like the side and rear view loads, I find the E90 3 series ugly too...yet I still bought two of them!! :headbang:

I have always thought BMW`s generally are more about the way the drive rather than the way they look and the 1 series is also testament to that but in saying that looks are so subjective and we all see things so differently, I love the E89 from the front big time but the rear is a mess for me but I cant say anything because I used to own a S14 200sx and that's bloody ugly front and rear yet I still loved it so much to drive.
