Surely an extra £4 a week isnt gonna put people off buying an M car over a lesser model.

OP....Sorry,wheels are not to my taste.Flog them and put some CSL's on..

Maybe the 1st October new monthly payable road fund licence plan may help some people consider a higher taxation vehicle 8)

Maybe....

But in reality,if the extra £4 per week puts buyers off then they would be mad to buy the M model...I mean whats £4 gonna buy you at the pumps...12 miles??

I tend to agree but some people may look at the bigger picture... Increased tax, fuel cost, insurance, repair/maintenance costs.

Don't get me wrong an ///M is a beautiful car and I would love to own one but I have my 3.0 Z4, another car and a bike to run..and a wife to keep happy!

I'm sure people are being more careful with their funds these days... Maybe I'm wrong but people don't look at £4 p/w they look at £500 a year! :)

Or this ///M is too modded and has horrible wheels for most

If it would only be the wheels, people would probably tell you. You bought the car yourself with these wheels and have grown to like them, so if I read between the lines, you weren't too fond of them either (at first). But that didn't stop you from buying... Don't forget you are selling a sports car, not everyone can afford this so your target audience isn't that large but there are probably more M's out there. Basically the offer is relatively big in comparison to the demand. So your price will have to be sharp... If it isn't, no-one will be interested.

Yep,we all have to put these things into perspective...

Tax,insurance and fuel for the M costs around £2500 a year... for my 3.0 it was around £1950..

So my man maths said for around £10 a week i can drive an M car...

Servicing and consumables will be more expensive, but when doing low miles its almost negligible.
