Uber low mile Sepang M Coupe

If I were presently looking for a Z4MC, although this car is a bit pricey, I'd rather pay a couple of grand too much for such a low mileage example than be waiting and expecting my perfect specced car to come along as a bargain. In a small group of UK cars, there will be only a small handful of ideal cars, if any, to choose from. A bird in the hand...

was that your sentiment when buying one? :P

I've been around classic, collectable, rare, and race cars all of my life- the golden rule is to buy the best car you can possibly afford as it saves in the long run.. I've done this many times despite the price looking initially high, but I've (nearly) always returned what Iv'e paid for them or more..

Lovely 8)

Loving the 968 CS and 964 (RS?) too :driving:

Well spotted- 964 RS Lightweight :driving:

Off topic so apologies, my friend had a 964RS and 996 GT3 RS,he sold his 964 and that has subsequently sold on again to Hong Kong for a reputed £80K :o so they're on the up

Yep, certainly are! It's my Dad's car... I'd say that £80 k is now the starting point for these cars, anything special are now fetching nearly double that... Hence ours hasn't moved for 18 month lol..

However it is getting a run to Spa in the summer :)

It was when I bought my Z3MC (a keeper not for sale), which only had 3,600 on the clock in 2003. When I bought my Z4MC in 2012 my requirements were a bit different, and I managed to buy a low-mileage, average specced car in excellent condition for a very good price because it is a "Marmite" colour (Phoenix Yellow), which I particularly wanted, but which others might not want to own. I always buy on condition and I always trust my own judgement and know very quickly whether I'm interested in buying any vehicle I see or not.

Well done to dannyg_m3 for buying this car whilst others are still dreaming and looking!  It's certainly one that I would've bought, and the best one to come around for a good while. Enjoy it fella! 8) :driving:

Sorry not at that price ... I was paying this price a few years ago, and as soon as I wanted to sell I was lucky to get 3k less
I think dannyg_m3 has bought this car as a long-term investment as a punt on the car becoming a Classic. That being the case, you have to go for the lowest mileage cars and it's cheaper to pay a premium for that at this stage rather than sometime in the future. I've looked at your list of previous ZMs and none of them appear to be MCs, and it seems to be the MCoupes only that are sought after.

So then. Finally had time to get to grips with my new purchase...

Here are some snaps for you :)

Enjoy

Dan

Have u started shopping for CSL's yet, they look dreamy on a Sepang

Looking at the service history details - I think this is the Sepang Coupe that used to live in Edinburgh in the West End. Service history at John Clarke (Dundee or Aberdeen) and then Eastern BMW. I'm sure I posted sightings in the spotted thread.

Can't have been two Sepang Coupes in Edinburgh surely.....

In fact - it is the same car http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=39192&p=577031&hilit=spotted+sepang#p577031 (note the typo of P6 instead of P5  )
