I think RX-8 sales are around 20,000 in the UK, and I doubt the Z4 has got anywhere near that, though...

Depends on what you're looking for, I suspect. BMW sold about 200,000 roadsters worldwide, but the Z4Ms are pretty scarce. In North America - fewer than 1700 M Coupes and fewer than 1800 M Roadsters at last count. I'd think you only have a few hundred Ms in the UK, but that's just guessing.
epbrown: that's right - I think BMW themselves said that they planned to bring only 200/year M Coupe's (I think it was M Coupe's, but it could have been M Coupe's AND M Roadsters), so given the 2006 introduction, that would mean there's a maximum of 400 here right now, stating the obvious.
I saw an M Coupé yesterday on the road. This was only the 2nd time I've seen an M Coupé in the wild since I bought my car in Dec '06.
I live in Essex, near London and i don't see many at all, let alone coupe's. I will probably start seeing more when the sun starts coming out. I am happy that i will probably not see another Phoenix Yellow Coupe ever, but was very annoyed when i saw a Phoenix Yellow C'vert the other day not far from mine!
I've seen 2 coupe's other than mine, neither of which were MC's. But...
I very nearly went on a track day with a friend yesterday at Oulton Park. He still went, and it turns out that a car exactly like mine was there: Imola Red and Champaigne Nappa. Presumably just the seats and door cars like mine, too. I'm gutted that I didn't go (was too short notice) because of the lovely weather and the potential to chat with the owner/get some ace photos
, but also because I can't be the only one with a Z4MC within the relative local area 
:wink: Given that there's a max of 400 M Coupes in the country, what the chances are of the same combo of exterior and interior being in the same area is, I don't know! Shame that it was a MotorSportVision day, as I woulda been able to contact the owner myself had it have been almost any other organiser...
