And you had no problems putting them on run rims . I had considered a rim and tyre package but about £750

I recently put Uniroyal RS3's on my E85 (with Sport suspension) and am very pleased with them at about £400 for the full set.

If you fancy changing wheels & tyres the look at these in the for sale thread - excellent tyres and a bargain for the set!

Thankyou for your help I am booked in for 4x avon ZZ5S through asda £365 can you tell me the name of the puncture repair kit that you carry please

Perhaps I can clarify for you.

You can fit any normal tyre on a run flat rim. The rim just has an extra lip to stop a runflat tyre coming off if deflated
You can run any correct sized rim on a Z4 so you can go with a package. Whole separate science on sizes and offset, but stick to stock for simplicity
Your choice of tyres but avoid budget that often come with packages

For puncture repair you can go for a BMW mobility kit off ebay which combines air pump and goo (my choice), separate airpump and aerosol or even aerosols that combine both.

This is what I use but paid just £30 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENUINE-BMW-M-MOBILITY-SYSTEM-TYRE-INFLATOR-71102229700-/252513997658?hash=item3acb01d35a:g:4aMAAOSw-itXwD0u

I carry a mobility kit (sealant and compressor).

Mine is like this

However, it doesn't have to be a BMW one, something like this will also do the job.

Start at 33psi F and 38psi R (works for my non-RFTs) and adjust from there to see what suits you / your car best.

Use the tyre pressures listed on the sticker in your door jamb. According to http://www.tyresafe.org/ the pressures are the same for run flats as for non run flats.

I have 18" Avon ZZ5s on my Zed...great tyre ! I am running 2.3bar/34.5psi in the rears and 2.1bar/31.5psi in the fronts. Handles well and rides well on these pressures with even and minimal tyre wear over the last 18 months.
