I currently have run flats 225/35/19 s on the front and 255/30/19 on the rear. I need to replace one rear tyre but the cheapest i can find is £230 for one. I can get two 255/35/19 for £270. what I would like to know is if this is possible? or if i need to have 255/30/19 on the rear

Cheers

From the price you have given I'm guessing you're looking at putting non runflats on the rear? The change in aspect ration will have a bearing on your speedometer calibration probably not by much but as said would stick with correct profile.

It's been said on here before that it's not a good combination ie. run flats and conventional tyres.

Hi Tim No i was not looking at mixing them. The price difference is for run flats but one is £230 for one tyre and the other is £270 for two the only difference being that the profile is 35 instead of 30. I was not sure if you could have 35 on the front and the rear.?
