Does anyone know were i could get 255x40x18 contisport contact5`s from?
keep looking on web and can only find conti 3`s.

Are you sure it's just the CSC 5 you're after and not the CSC 5P?

Either way, I don't think the 255/40r18 has been released by Conti yet.

ContiSportContact 5 (the base version of the new 5 range, giving better fuel economy, better braking & longer life)

ContiSportContact 5P (the performance version of the new 5 range)

Or my favourite, and really, really want to try them, but would need 19 wheels...ContiForceContact

Anyway, there's nothing wrong with the SportContact3, and they're better than the standard SportContact M3.

Cheers fella,
Makes a lot of sense and can understand why i cant find them.
Ive currently got conti 3's on the front and neros on the rear, will now swap with conti 3's to keep it all the same.
Thanks

I'm just waiting to see which of my two options will be available when I come to replace mine in the next couple of months.

I'm trying to get either the new Michelin Super Sport, or the Continental SportContact 5P - but neither may be available at the time :headbang:

I find Michelin to be over priced for what you actually get to be honest, but thats only my opinion.
Different people require different things out of a tyre, myself i require an all weather tyre due to the fact the z is my only car.

Mine's my one & only too, and has to cope with 20-30k a year in all weathers - including snow. Not got stuck...yet :P

Still debating whether to go for a set of winter wheels & tyres, or just keep a couple of sets of snow-socks in the car.

I just fitted the Super Sports in stock sizes so I would expect that they should be available near you.

Will depend on which factory they're from and which region they're for.

I've previously tried to get some tyres that were showing as available on the Bridgestone website, only to be told they were not available outside of the US, so unless I wanted to personally import a set I'd not be getting any :headbang:
