Tyres to suit non standard wheels

‘Evening all. I’m a returning member who made the mistake of selling my black E86. I’ve seen the error of my ways, and last year bought a lovely silver grey one. Thanks Iggy!
I need some new tyres to suit my non standard 18” wheels; Veeman VC359. 8.5” ET35 and 9.5” ET45.
I was thinking of Michelin PS4S’s but the sizes aren’t available.
The car will be used for trackdays, weekends away and an occasional 40 mile commute.
The current tyres are standard 225/40 and 255/35 at present. There’s no rubbing and there looks to be good clearance, however, the fronts look stretched, and on checking, the minimum recommended width is 235. (255 minimum on the rears)
I was thinking of going for Pirelli P Zero PZ4 in 235/40 and 255/40.
Sorry this is another tyre post, but has anyone had experience of the Pirelli’s or thought on the wider wheel/tyre combination?

Nice wheels, for tyres recommended width given the alloy size
18 x 8.5 is 235 or 245
18 x 9.5 is 255 or 265
You can go a size either way so 225 min and 255 max on 8.5"
As for profile stick with the 40 front and 35 rear, for sizes, given the offset difference between OEM and the Veemann's 235/40 R18 and 265/35 R18. The larger fronts won't change the poke as this is governed by the rim but the tyre will be a little squarer.
My SL was fitted with P-Zero's they start off performing really well but hardness increases as they wear, Goodyear F1 A5 would be my choice for 18's

trackdays and weekends away, you could consider GY Eagle F1 supersports... not that much more than F1 5s, but are more of a match for michelin PS4S, which arent available much in an 18".

Slightly late to this but I fitted a set of Kumho Ecstas to my car last April based on a recommendation on here and I've been really pleased with them. But I don't know if they do the sizes you will need.

Anyway I can understand why you are glad to be back in an E86 - they do seem addictive!

And those Veeman's look great.
